Preview: How LIV golfers have fared at Greenbrier

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – More than half of the 48 players in this week’s LIV Golf Greenbrier field have prior experience competing on The Old White course at The Greenbrier.

The Old White hosted a professional tournament from 2010-19, with the exception of 2016 when devastating and deadly floods in Greenbrier County resulted in the cancellation of that year’s event.

LIV Golf is making its first visit to Greenbrier with this week’s 10th event in 2023’s 14-tournament LIV Golf League schedule.

Of the 27 LIV players returning to Greenbrier this week, HyFlyers GC’s Cameron Tringale has made the most starts, playing in all nine previous professional tournaments held at The Old White. Tringale twice finished tied for fourth, in 2011 and 2014.

Danny Lee (2015), Kevin Na (2018) and Joaquin Niemann (2019) are past champions on The Old White.
